1. Right of Withdrawal
Customers in the United Kingdom and the European Union (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden) have the right to withdraw from their purchase, without giving any reason, within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the goods. The return address will be provided to you upon request by email. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Orders cannot be cancelled once production has started. However, the statutory right of withdrawal remains fully applicable and may be exercised by returning the product after receipt, in accordance with the conditions set out in this section.

In the event of damage occurring during transit, the shipping insurance included with the order is automatically activated, and a replacement product will be dispatched at no additional cost.
The customer retains the right to return the replacement product in order to obtain a refund, in accordance with our return policy.
The withdrawal and return period shall restart upon receipt of the replacement package.

Orders placed by business customers located in the United Kingdom and the European Union (legal entities or purchases made for professional use) are not eligible for the right of withdrawal or returns.
However, if a product is received damaged or not as described, a free replacement will be offered in accordance with our after-sales policy.

For customers located outside the European Union (excluding the United Kingdom), including the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, please note that we do not offer an automatic right of withdrawal or statutory returns as required by European consumer protection laws.

2. Return Conditions
If your return is approved following the submission of the return form or after direct contact, products must be returned in their original condition — unused, undamaged, and complete. Posters and frames must be returned in secure packaging, including any accessories if applicable.
At least one photo of each item must be provided before shipping to confirm the condition, along with a photo of the final packaging prior to dispatch.
All returns must include the order number and the full name used at the time of purchase. If we are unable to identify the order within 14 days of receiving the package, no refund will be issued.
The return address will be provided by email. Returns must be sent to a specific return address. We work with a network of private partners worldwide; any package returned to one of these partners will not be considered valid and will not be eligible for a refund.
Important: If your return package arrives damaged, even though it was in good condition when shipped, the customer is responsible for the shipping process. We strongly recommend careful packaging and using insured shipping. If damage occurs, we will provide photos of the parcel to support your claim with the carrier.
Once your withdrawal request has been confirmed, you have 14 calendar days to return the item. Returns shipped after this period may be refused.

Unjustified Chargebacks: In case of a chargeback initiated without returning the goods or without valid justification, the customer may be liable for administrative fees and legal costs incurred by the seller. This includes, but is not limited to, chargeback fees, legal representation costs, and time spent on dispute resolution.

3. Return Shipping Costs
The cost of returning the products is the responsibility of the customer. The choice of shipping carrier is entirely up to the customer. However, it is strongly recommended to use a tracked shipping service and to purchase shipping insurance to ensure the safe return of the items. In the event that the package arrives damaged, the customer is responsible for seeking compensation directly from the chosen carrier.

4. Return Responsibility
Returned products travel under the customer's responsibility. If the item is damaged during return shipping, the refund may be reduced or denied depending on the condition of the product received.

5. Refund Policy
Returns made within 14 days of receiving the products are eligible for a refund via the original payment method used on www.bauhausposters.com or a store credit valid on our website.
If a store credit is chosen, it can be used for any future purchase on our online store.

6. Exchanges
For customers in the United Kingdom and the European Union, we accept product exchanges within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt.
If you wish to exchange an item, please contact us via email at the address provided above to arrange the exchange.
The product return conditions for exchanges are the same as for a regular return. The customer must contact our team using the withdrawal form and request the exchange. Our team will get back to you promptly to provide return instructions, collect the necessary information for the exchange, and explain the steps to proceed.
Exchange shipping costs will be covered by the buyer.

7. Exceptions
Custom-made or personalized products — including items ordered in a non-standard size or format not offered in our shop — cannot be returned, except in the case of a manufacturing defect.
