2. Products and Services
BAUHAUS POSTERS offers posters made from FSC-certified paper, available via print-on-demand service.

Each poster comes with a 100-year color durability guarantee from the date of purchase.

This guarantee covers:

  • Color stability

  • No yellowing of the paper

  • Resistance to fading

Guarantee conditions:
The guarantee is valid provided the poster is:

  • Stored in a dry environment

  • Kept away from direct sunlight

  • Framed in a sealed frame

  • Maintained at standard indoor room temperature (approximately 18–24°C)

This guarantee does not cover damage caused by humidity, UV exposure, improper handling, or non-protective framing.
This commercial guarantee does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

Slight to moderate color variations between the visuals shown on product pages and the final result may occur due to differences in displays (screens, brightness, calibration) as well as printing standards. These variations are not considered a defect or a product non-conformity and cannot, on their own, justify an automatic refund.
3. Taxes, Pricing, and Payments
Sales Tax within the European Union
Prices are not subject to VAT in Europe (Article 293 B of the French Tax Code).
"Europe" refers to the 27 EU member states: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.
Sales Tax Outside the European Union
We are a small business based in France and do not have a physical or economic presence in the US, Canada, Australia, the UK, or New Zealand.
Therefore, we do not collect sales tax, VAT, GST, HST, or other local taxes on orders shipped to these countries.
To improve delivery efficiency and reduce our environmental impact, we partner with independent and local production providers in these regions.
However, these partnerships do not establish a tax presence under current regulations.
Customers are responsible for complying with any applicable use taxes or import duties in their respective jurisdictions.
Product prices are displayed in local currency. Shipping costs vary based on destination.

Billing details will be available in the confirmation email sent at the time of purchase.

4. Orders
Orders are processed through Shopify’s standard checkout system.
A confirmation email will be sent after the order is validated.
5. Shipping and Delivery
Deliveries are handled by the carrier selected at the time of order, or if unavailable, by an equivalent third-party carrier at no extra cost, based on shipping preferences.
Estimated delivery times range from 3 to 21 business days depending on the destination.
Shipping fees vary per order and may be subject to conditional promotional offers.
6. Right of Withdrawal
Customers in the UK and the European Union (as listed above) have the legal right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the products.
Orders cannot be cancelled once production has started. However, the statutory right of withdrawal remains fully applicable and may be exercised by returning the product after receipt, in accordance with the conditions set out in this section.
Returns must be sent to our address in France at the customer's expense. Please refer to our Return and Refund Policy for detailed instructions.
Orders placed by business customers located in the United Kingdom and the European Union (legal entities or purchases made for professional use) are not eligible for the right of withdrawal or returns.
However, if a product is received damaged or not as described, a free replacement will be offered in accordance with our after-sales policy.
Customers outside the European Union (excluding the UK), including in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, should note that we do not offer an automatic statutory right of withdrawal as required by EU law.
However, your satisfaction matters to us. If you experience any issues with your order, please contact us directly.
We are committed to working with you to find an appropriate solution in accordance with the consumer protection laws of your country.
7. Warranty and After-Sales Service
In addition to the 100-year color durability guarantee, all products sold on www.bauhausposters.com are covered by:

  • The legal warranty of conformity

  • The warranty against hidden defects, as per Articles 1641 and following of the French Civil Code

In the case of non-conformity or hidden defect, the product may be returned, exchanged, or refunded in line with applicable consumer protection laws.
In the event of damage occurring during transit, the shipping insurance included with the order is automatically activated, and a replacement product will be dispatched at no additional cost.
The customer retains the right to return the replacement product in order to obtain a refund, in accordance with our return policy.
The withdrawal and return period shall restart upon receipt of the replacement package.
8. Liability
BAUHAUS POSTERS shall not be held liable for direct or indirect damage to the user’s equipment when accessing www.bauhausposters.com, resulting from:

  • The use of equipment not meeting minimum specifications or incompatible devices

  • The occurrence of software bugs or incompatibilities

Furthermore, BAUHAUS POSTERS shall not be liable in cases of force majeure.
9. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights for products and content available on www.bauhausposters.com are the exclusive property of BAUHAUS POSTERS.
Any reproduction, distribution, modification, or unauthorized use of this content is strictly prohibited.
10. Personal Data
Information collected on www.bauhausposters.com is stored in a secure database by BAUHAUS for the purpose of order management and customer service.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, the competent court shall be the one in the jurisdiction of BAUHAUS POSTERS’s registered office.
